| 1. | Do my licenses ever expire? No. When you purchase PageCurl PRO, you are purchasing a lifetime copy. There are no additional monthly or yearly fees. |
| 2. | What if I change websites? Will I need to buy a new license? The goal of the license-by-domain system is to ensure that our product doesn't get copied to server after server and used in a way that exploits our hard work. If you want to use Page Curl PRO on multiple servers at the same time, please purchase multiple licenses. However, if you are changing domains and you will only be using Page Curl PRO on your new domain, contact us at support@powerupmysite.com and we can discuss the option of transferring your license to your new server. |
| 3. | How do I create the advertisement that I want to appear? We provide an image template to you in our package that makes it easy for you to go into any graphic editor to add text or a picture. You can use advanced options like Corel or Photoshop, or if you do not have one you can use GIMP for free. |
| 4. | Will a single license work on different subdomains? Yes, and No. It depends on the format of your subdomains. If you have registered 'mysite.com' and your subdomain is 'mysite.sub1.com' or 'mysite.sub2.com', then Yes, the single registration key for 'mysite.com' will work for all these subdomains. However, if your subdomains are in the format of 'sub1.mysite.com' or 'sub2.mysite.com', then you will need to purchase a separate license for each subdomain. |
| 5. | What file formats can I use for my advertisement? Images should be saved in non-progressive JPEG format. This is because Flash 7 and earlier are incompatible with progressive JPEGs. |
| 6. | Will my web page be fully visible and usable when PageCurl is in the 'closed' position? Yes. PageCurl is transparent except for the backing of the page. So, if your page extends into the area of the curl, it will be visible and usable up to the point that the curl starts. When a visitor pulls back the page, it will simply cover your website, creating the effect that your web page is peeling back. For an example, view our home page at powerupmysite.com. If necessary, you can resize your browser window to see how Page Curl PRO works over website content. |
| 7. | Do I need to have PHP, ASP, or Java to use PageCurl? No. Page Curl PRO uses dynamic HTML and Flash to get the job done. It will work on any web site. |
| 8. | What do my visitors need to see the Page Curl PRO? We've created it in a way that it's compatible all the way back to Flash 6 to ensure maximum compatibility with your visitors' existing setups. |
| 9. | Can you install this product for me? Yes. We offer installation for a fee of $10 U.S. If you would like us to install it for you, write to us after you make your purchase and provide your URL, FTP username and password, and which page(s) you would like Page Curl PRO to appear on, as well as the locations of the advertisements you would like to use. Most installations are complete within an hour. |
